It is used for making spirit wood stains, black marking inks and spirit finishes for leather and printing inks. It is also used in U/F stoving lacquers. It can be easily dissolved in phenoxy ethanol, cellosolve, benzyl alcohol , diacetone alcohol and phenyl ethyl alcohol.
